Danvers-Smith celebrates victory

Natasha Danvers-Smith won the 400metres hurdles at the Norwich Union Grand Prix in Gateshead on Sunday.

The United States-based star powered away from her rivals, Kaliese Spencer of Jamaica and Germany's Claudia Marx, to win in a time of 54.85 seconds.

Commonwealth 5,000m silver medallist Jo Pavey battled bravely in the 3,000m race but eventually had to settle for fifth place behind winner Tirunesh Dibaba.
