UK Athletics has named a clutch of European and Commonwealth medallists in the Norwich Union GB team for the International match at Kelvin Hall on Saturday 27 January.
Andy Turner, Sam Ellis, Steve Lewis and Philips Idowu are all named in the men’s team whilst Joice Maduaka, and Lisa Dobriskey will represent the GB women in the televised events season opener in Glasgow.
There are also selections for Mark Lewis Francis and Jeanette Kwakye for the Commonwealth team in the 60m, whilst Craig Pickering (60m), Marilyn Okoro (800m), Sarah Claxton (60mH) and Kelly Sotherton (60mH) also compete either as part of the Commonwealth select team or as guests.
