Toronto Marathon
Four athletes have been selected to compete in the International Team Challenge at the 7th Annual Scotiabank Toronto Marathon on 24 September. Jenny Clague (Liverpool Harriers), now 32 has comeback from a series of serious achilles tendon injuries and lowered her marathon PB to 2:36.10, to finish as the second British woman behind Mara Yamauchi at this year's Flora London Marathon. But it wasn't enough to make the European Championships team for Gothenburg. Clague is hoping to clock another personal best and could break the course record in Toronto. Sue Harrison (Leamington C & AC) set her career best of 2:36.13 on the same day as Clague in Hamburg on 23 April.
The combined times of the two male athletes and two female athletes will be added together to determine the winning team in Toronto.
