Neil has been competing against non-disabled athletes since the age of 10, winning several titles and medals along the way.

In 2005 Neil was classified as a disabled athlete, making his international debut the following summer.

Neil graduated with a degree in Physics from Aberdeen University and is now training as a full time athlete.
