Career summary 

  • Harry was double world Youth Champion in 2005 and was awarded the ‘Rising Star of the Year’ award by the IAAF and the BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year award

  • Harry’s parents come from Ghana – and he first burst onto the scene in 2003, when he set a European age-14 best of 10.83 for 100m. He discovered he was a good sprinter when he ran away from a barking dog when he was a youngster.

  • Following a fantastic 2006 where he became World Junior Champion over 100m, he was disappointed to miss the 2007 season with a back injury.

  • He is now studying PE and Sociology at Loughborough University. He also has a collection of Superman related items.
