David went to the World Cross Country Championships in Mombasa at the age of 17 as part of the junior team.

At 1500m in 2007 he improved to 3.47.96 and made the final of the UK Senior championships. He also won the London Grand Prix Junior 3000m - the England U20 championship race - in a PB 8.31.66.

David is currently studying Biology, Chemistry and PE A levels at Winstanley College and will take his final exams in 2008. He wants to take a degree in Biochemistry.

He is a talented all rounder and was once an English Schools champion playing Rugby League. He enjoys surfing and swimming.
